Antigen Specific T Cells

MART-1, also referred to as Melan-A, is found in melanocytes and most melanoma cells. It encodes antigenic epitopes that are detected by tumour-reactive CD8+ T cells. RoukenCells provides HLA-A*0201-restricted anti-MART-1 CD8+ T cells produced through transduction with an anti-MART-1 TCR derived from the DMF5 TCR. These TCR T cells specifically recognise the MART-1 26-35 peptide (EAAGIGILTV) and the one which features a leucine substitution at position 27 (ELAGIGILTV), when it is presented by HLA A*0201.
