This Jurkat cell line stably expresses Killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily K member 1 (NKG2D) and an NFAT-luciferase reporter, allowing the assessment of NKG2D signalling after MICA/B engagement. When co-cultured with CHO-K1 MIC-A/B cells (RoukenCells #CB1587), activation of NFAT can be quantitatively assessed through luciferase activity, providing a robust and sensitive readout for pathway stimulation. NKG2D expression has been confirmed by flow cytometry and the cell line has been functionally validated in co-culture assays.
