CHO-K1 IndEGFR is an IndEx-2 stable cell line inducibly expressing full length human EGFR.

IndEx-2 is RoukenCells' proprietary inducible expression system that enables precise, dose-dependent control of one or two target antigens within your chosen cell line. Using orthogonal chemically induced proximity switches, antigen expression can be independently tuned across a biologically relevant range, creating custom cell models for target validation, assay development and therapeutic screening.

Target Information and Further Details
EGFR is a receptor tyrosine kinase encoded by the EGFR gene. It plays a central role in regulating cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival through downstream signalling pathways such as MAPK and PI3K/AKT. EGFR is frequently overexpressed or mutated in various cancers, including NSCLC (especially with activating mutations such as L858R or exon 19 deletions), colorectal cancer, and glioblastoma. Therapeutic strategies include EGFR-targeted monoclonal antibodies (e.g., cetuximab) and TKIs (e.g., erlotinib, osimertinib), which have shown significant clinical efficacy in EGFR-driven cancers.
