CHO-K1 IndcynoVEGFR2 is an IndEx-2 stable cell line inducibly expressing full length cynomolgus macaque VEGFR2.

IndEx-2 is RoukenCells' proprietary inducible expression system that enables precise, dose-dependent control of one or two target antigens within your chosen cell line. Using orthogonal chemically induced proximity switches, antigen expression can be independently tuned across a biologically relevant range, creating custom cell models for target validation, assay development and therapeutic screening.

Target Information and Further Details
VEGFR2, encoded by the KDR gene on chromosome 4q12, is a receptor tyrosine kinase of the VEGF receptor family. It is the principal mediator of VEGF-A signalling, driving angiogenesis through activation of downstream pathways including MAPK and PI3K/AKT. VEGFR2 promotes endothelial cell proliferation, migration, and survival.
VEGFR2 is highly expressed on vascular endothelium in tumours, where VEGF/VEGFR2 signalling supports tumour angiogenesis and progression. Therapeutics targeting VEGFR2 include monoclonal antibodies (e.g., ramucirumab), tyrosine kinase inhibitors (e.g., sorafenib, axitinib), and VEGF-ligand inhibitors (e.g., bevacizumab), all of which have become central to anti-angiogenic therapy in cancer.
