CHO-K1 IndcynoPD-1 is an IndEx-2 stable cell line inducibly expressing full length cynomolgus macaque PD-1.

IndEx-2 is RoukenCells' proprietary inducible expression system that enables precise, dose-dependent control of one or two target antigens within your chosen cell line. Using orthogonal chemically induced proximity switches, antigen expression can be independently tuned across a biologically relevant range, creating custom cell models for target validation, assay development and therapeutic screening.

Target Information and Further Details
PD-1 is an immune checkpoint receptor encoded by the PDCD1 gene on chromosome 2q37. It is expressed on activated T cells, B cells, and NK cells, where it binds to its ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2, transmitting inhibitory signals that dampen T-cell proliferation, cytokine production, and cytotoxic function.
Physiologically, PD-1 maintains immune tolerance and prevents autoimmunity, but in cancer, PD-1–ligand interactions contribute to tumour immune evasion. Therapeutic antibodies blocking PD-1 (e.g., nivolumab, pembrolizumab) restore antitumour immunity and have revolutionized treatment across multiple solid tumours and lymphomas.
