Target Information and Further Details
This RBL-2H3 (rat) mast cell line expresses human high affinity immunoglobulin epsilon receptor subunits alpha, beta and gamma, forming a complete Fc epsilon receptor (FcεR1), and a NFAT response element driving a luciferase reporter. When combined with IgE sensitisation and crosslinking protocols, it can be used to screen molecules that can impact FcεRI triggering. FcεRI expression has been quantified by flow cytometry and the cell line has been functionally validated for signalling in response to IgE/allergen cross-linking.
